Any individual or organisation ("User" or "you") utilising or accessing the MeeTV app and/or the website at www.meetv.net (collectively referred to as the "Site"), or any content or data available through the Site, must agree to comply with the terms outlined in this User Agreement and all relevant terms and information available on the Site including the Platform Guidelines.

Personal Data

You agree to provide only true, accurate and complete information to us via the Site. Any personal information provided by you will be treated with appropriate care and security in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

1. Contracting Parties

The Site, together with all software, content, data and other materials contained therein ("Content") are owned or controlled by Mee TV LTD Limited, a company incorporated in England under company number 11384957 with its registered office at 6 Mendip Way, Corby, England, NN18 8GJ. While Browse the Site doesn't require registration, you'll need a registered user account to upload content, collect tips, or engage with videos. To view content, you must have an active subscription as outlined in Clause 6. By registering, you confirm you're at least 16 years old (with parent/guardian consent if a minor in your country) and legally able to enter binding contracts.

2. The MeeTV Service

MeeTV provides a video sharing platform for posting on-demand video content, subject to moderation ("Creator Content" via a "Channel"). We facilitate financial transactions on the platform, including the collection of platform-wide subscription fees and tips for Creators. Service access requires suitable electronic devices and a stable internet connection, which you're responsible for obtaining. We're not liable for technical issues affecting playback quality.

3. Viewers' Rights to View Content

Access to view Creator Content on the Service is conditional upon maintaining an active paid subscription, as detailed in Clause 6, unless you are a Creator with an active Channel. Subject to this condition, MeeTV grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited and revocable licence to use the Service for personal viewing. This licence does not permit:

Sale or sub-licensing of Creator Content

Making copies of Creator Content

Distribution to third parties

Advertising-related use or promotion

4. Creators' Grant of License

By uploading content, you grant MeeTV a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable license to display, perform, reproduce, distribute, and format your content for service-related purposes. You warrant ownership of or proper rights to all uploaded content.

5. Transactions

Transactions for tips are contracts between the Viewer and the Creator. Transactions for platform subscriptions are contracts between the Viewer and MeeTV. While we facilitate these transactions through our platform, we are not a party to the contract for tips between a Viewer and a Creator. Payment card addition is required for purchases or tips.

6. Subscription Model and Revenue Distribution

Access to view content on MeeTV for non-Creators requires a subscription. Standard accounts for viewing content are subject to the following terms:

Subscription Fees: Users can subscribe for a recurring monthly fee of £4.99, or a recurring yearly fee of £49.99. These payments grant access to all Creator Content available on the platform.

Affiliate Program: If a new user subscribes using a Creator's unique affiliate code, that Creator will receive a percentage of the referred user's subscription fee. This percentage is calculated on the subscription fee value after the deduction of applicable taxes (such as VAT). This affiliate commission will be paid to the Creator for every month the referred user's subscription remains active.

Revenue Distribution: The total monthly subscription revenue, after deducting applicable taxes and any affiliate commissions, forms the Net Subscription Revenue. This Net Subscription Revenue is then split as follows:

80% is allocated to a "Creator Pool".

20% is allocated to MeeTV.

Creator Pool Payouts: The 80% Creator Pool is distributed amongst all eligible Creators on the platform each month. Each Creator's share of the pool is determined by their proportion of the total watch time generated across all content on MeeTV during that month.

Creator Access: Creators with an active Channel on MeeTV are granted access to view content on the platform without requiring a paid subscription.

Other Fees: Payment Processing Fees associated with transactions are deducted prior to the calculation of Net Subscription Revenue. Any transactions for tips are separate from the subscription model and are subject to their own fee structure as detailed on the Site.

7. Payments by Viewers

Payments for subscriptions can be made via credit/debit cards or other listed payment solutions. Subscription payments are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) to your chosen payment method. All transactions are charged immediately. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access to the Service will continue until the end of your current billing period (monthly or yearly), after which your subscription will not be renewed. No partial or pro-rata refunds will be issued for subscriptions, except where required by law. No refunds are provided for Tips.

8. Payments to Creators

Payouts from the subscription revenue pool are calculated and processed on a monthly basis. Payouts for other revenue streams, such as tips, may follow a different schedule. All payments due to Creators are subject to the deduction of applicable Payment Processing Fees from the Creator's balance.

9. Content

MeeTV owns all intellectual property rights in the Site and Content, except Creator Content. Content is provided without warranties and subject to change.

10. Explicit Content

Despite moderation, some explicit content may be served. Don't rely on the Service to filter all explicit content.

11. User Conduct

Users must not:

Engage in unlawful activities

Cause emotional distress or incite violence

Share extreme violence or gore

Promote terrorist organizations

Exploit minors

Use automated means to download data

Attempt unauthorized access

12. Objectionable Material

If you encounter objectionable or infringing content, report it immediately to MeeTV with the specific URL and reasons. Follow our Take-down Policy. False reports may have legal consequences.

13. Termination

You may terminate this Agreement at any time. MeeTV may terminate without notice if:

You breach these terms

We're legally required to do so

Continuation becomes commercially unviable

Upon termination, all unpaid fees become due and you must cease using the Service. If a Creator terminates their account, any accrued earnings from the Creator revenue pool that have not yet been paid out will be calculated and paid in the next scheduled payment cycle, provided the balance meets the minimum payout threshold.

14. Technical Requirements

Use the Service according to our technical guidelines. We're not responsible for incompatibility issues. Service may be interrupted for maintenance without prior notice. For inquiries about compatibility, contact auth@notifications.meetv.net

15. Your Warranties

You warrant that:

You have the right to enter this Agreement

You will comply with applicable law

You will use the Service only as permitted

All information you provide is accurate

You have obtained necessary third-party permissions for content

16. Our Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We don't guarantee:

The Service will meet your requirements

Uninterrupted or error-free service

Accuracy of results

Quality of content

17. Liability

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the Service. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, except where prohibited by law.

18. Trade Marks

"MeeTV" and related brands are trademarks of MeeTV or its partners unless stated otherwise.

19. Hacking

Don't attempt to damage, hack, or interfere with the Site. We'll cooperate with authorities to investigate violations and reserve the right to block access.

20. Third Parties

This Agreement is between you and MeeTV only. No third party has enforceable rights.

21. No Partnership

Your use of the Service creates no partnership, client, fiduciary or professional relationship.

22. Severance

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.

23. No Waiver

No waiver of any breach shall operate as a waiver of another breach.

24. Variation

Terms may be updated by posting on the Site. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

25. Export Controls

You must comply with applicable export control laws and sanctions.

26. Law

This Agreement is governed by English law and subject to London courts' jurisdiction.

27. Arbitration

Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under ICC Rules. Claims must be filed within one year of discovery.
