A few weeks ago, I got a call no one wants to get. I was laid off from my job.
This was something that would change the course of my life. Living in Los Angeles with my wife, I depend on this job. It has pretty much been my only bread and butter. With rent and bills due on top of still paying off my student loan, I can not afford not to have a job.
The last couple of weeks have been rough. I've been applying to hundreds of jobs, reaching out to friends, messaging people on social media, and sending cold emails to people for whatever I could get.
During this time, I decided to document my life. I knew that nothing was certain and that I didn't know where I would be, but I thought maybe it would make up for a beautiful story so I decided to document my life every single day.
This is the first episode of my new chapter - the chapter of the unknown. This vlog series will focus on the realistic challenges of being laid off from your job, how to face adversity and the journey to finding yourself.
