We've made it to the swamps and alligators of the Deep South! We've come a long way from Nova Scotia, our point of landing for the American continent. Cotton fields fill our windows now and we're slowly catching up with the winter sun as the days get warmer and warmer. Congaree National Park is where the famous firefly show happens every June, and we explore the marshy, swampy forest floor (and what lives in it).
