One of the biggest challenges of growing up is to find your place in the world. When I grew up in Oslo, Norway, all I could think of was a new home on the other side of the world.
When I finally was able to make that dream come true and call California my home, I realized that home wasn't only about a place - it was about something so much more.
Having a place to call home is less about where you are, and more about the feeling you feel when you feel you can be at your very best.
Balancing where I grew up (my past) and where I live now (my present) remain one of the hardest things I have to battle with because I constantly feel that I don't fit in, that I'm misunderstood, and that the only place I can truly be myself is in my own head.
I hope you guys enjoyed this short-film that I spent months working on. I meant to finish it earlier this year when I came back from Norway, but took longer than expected due to being busy and my perfectionist mind. My goal is that it inspired someone out there to believe in my message!
