Here I test running the DJI Mics (both the MicMini and Mic2) with the Action 5 connected wirelessly (gain set at -12 for both in stereo). The Mic2 is under my seat connected to a purple panda positioned in the wing (with lots of deadcat).
Audio from the Mic2 with this set up was great! But something was missing... no wind noise! So instead of re-introducing wind noise to the Mic2 I thought why not capture wind noise through a MicMini in my helmet and then I can have voice also.
This opened up the balancing question, how much wind noise and should I seperate the mics in post in mono or stereo? This quick test will show the results and you can decide what you prefer.
