Ever since we left Utah in March to drive our van to the far north of Alaska, we've been chasing the winter. While everyone back home was posting pictures of daffodils and blue skies, we were driving through mini blizzards and parking in the only rest areas that had been ploughed during the winter. In Prudhoe Bay, we were greeted with -15 temperatures and freezing fog. We have been desperate for warm sunshine on our skin, to see wildflowers and green trees. Well, this week we officially turned south!
