Welcome to Nagoro Village – one of the creepiest and most fascinating places in Japan! Hidden deep in the mountains, this tiny village is home to over 400 life-sized scarecrows… and almost no real people. As two Brits touring Japan on motorcycles, we rode miles of twisting mountain roads to uncover this eerie ghost village that looks straight out of a horror movie.
From abandoned schools to empty streets filled with dolls, this is one of the strangest motorcycle adventures we’ve ever experienced in Japan.
